It covers the whole of the region and has lots of information about local attractions and fun things to do, as well as what everyday life is like in the UK. Inside, you will find helpful details about learning English (ESOL), going to school, seeing a doctor, and finding people and networks that can support you. This is your guide to getting started and feeling at home.

North East Local Authority Welcome Guide

The North East Local Authority Welcome Guide is all about helping you get to know the area where you will be living. Each of the 12 local authorities in the region has its own page, so you can find out what is nearby, from sports centres to shops, and local attractions. It is a great way to discover your new area.
