Support in Urdu, Punjabi, Hindi, Arabic and Farsi from Peace of Mind.
People are supported with a huge range of issues including sourcing food for families with no income, assistance to access education, signposting to relevant agencies/organisation for support, emergency help and support/financial assistance where necessary, accessing medical services appropriately and understanding/reporting hate crime.
Usual services include:
- Weekly sessions – signposting and practical support
- Training and education sessions around UC and parenting in the UK
- Lucys Fund – This helps destitute refugees and asylum seekers in emergencies
- End food poverty
- Promotion of volunteering
- Children’s activities
